BioNanoMedTech on MEDICA 2011

The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) presented within the frame of the campaign „Research in Germany – Land of Ideas” the leading German research in medical technology on the international exhibition MEDICA 2011 (Duesseldorf, November 16 – 19, 2011). BMBF has launched by the participation a funded marketing programme dedicated to enhance the international recognizability of the extraordinary performance of the German Medical Technology.

The representative stand integrated eight top German clusters of extraordinary scientific and innovative potential in Medical Technology. BioNanoMedTech, one of the granted eight German medtech-clusters, presented the scientific and technical excellence of its nine partners of research centers, hospitals and innovative companies.

The shared boot of BioNanoMedTech have been visited by a large number of representatives of international companies and scientific institutions interested in nano-medicine, biomedical sensors and diagnostics, biomaterials, drug delivery systems and cutting edge medical devices like self-expanding and drug releasing stents. Additionally, numerous young scientist have been attracted in order to learn more about BioNanoMedTech and the options for scientific careers within our network.

BioNanoMedTech addresses thanks to the BMBF and its International Bureau for funding and the excellent organization.
